The Fudge & Stuff Care Guide

Brownies & Blondies

Stash plain brownies in airtight containers at room temp for days. If they have buttercream or ganache, chill in the fridge. To revive that oven-fresh magic, warm plain brownies in the microwave for 10 seconds or a 175°C oven for 3 minutes. Stop when the chocolate shimmers. Note: Items with buttercream or ganache don't like heat! For those, skip the oven and simply let them reach room temperature to enjoy their silky, indulgent texture.

NY-Style Cookies

Our chunky cookies stay soft and gooey for 3–4 days in a sealed jar at room temp. Note: Blueberry Cheesecake Cookies must live in the fridge to keep their filling fresh. For that fresh-baked magic, warm them up in the oven for 3 minutes before devouring.

Freezing Leftovers

Want to save some for later? Wrap individual pieces tightly in parchment, place in a sealed container and freeze for up to 1 month. Just thaw at room temperature when the craving hits!

Cake & Cupcake Storage

Custom Cakes
Floral Cupcakes

Keep refrigerated in their box until 1 hour before serving. Custom cakes are best enjoyed at room temperature to let the buttercream soften to velvety perfection. Once cut, press plastic wrap against the exposed crumb to lock in moisture for up to 5 days.

Cupcakes love a cool, dry spot. Refrigeration is recommended to keep those delicate buttercream blooms intact. Bring to room temperature 30 minutes before indulging. For long-term goodness, store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days.

Sugar Cookie Care

Your cookies are individually sealed and ready to keep fresh at room temperature for up to five days, or you can freeze them for up to three months.

Storing Your Cookies at Room Temperature

Keep your cookies in their sealed bags and store them in a cool, dry spot away from direct sunlight and heat. Avoid putting them in the refrigerator, because the cold air and moisture can make the fondant sticky or ruin the design.

Freezing Leftovers

If you want to save your cookies for a future date, you can freeze them safely for up to three months. Place the bagged cookies inside a sturdy, airtight plastic container or a large freezer bag to protect them from freezer burn.

Thawing Your Cookies Properly

The most important rule for thawing is patience. Never open the container while the cookies are still cold.

  1. Take the entire airtight container or freezer bag out of the freezer.

  2. Leave the container completely closed and set it on your kitchen counter.

  3. Let it sit unopened for four to eight hours, or overnight, until the container reaches room temperature.

  4. This waiting period ensures that any condensation forms on the outside of the plastic container instead of on your fondant, keeping your cookies dry and beautiful. Once fully thawed, you can open the container and enjoy.

Cake Cutting

Step 1: Position a cutting board against the side of your cake and cut a 1" slice.

Step 2: Lay the cake slice on your board and cut into dessert (1" x 2") or coffee (1" x 1") portions. Repeat for the rest of the cake to ensure even portions.

Step 3: Tall cakes can be cut again through the middle for even smaller portions.

Step 4: Enjoy your cake!
